Oneprcnt is a Portland, OR design service specializing in awesome and affordable websites for artists, musicians, bands, venues, and just about anyone else with a creative bone in their body.

There's a ton of ways to showcase your efforts on the web. MySpace, Etsy, Blogger, Deviant, the list goes on. They are mostly free, and you can get it up there without too much effort. But how does it look? Who's looking at it? Can anyone even find you?

The Process

consultation

This is the initial meeting where we sit down with you and talk about your needs and desires. It's also where we familiarize ourselves with you as a person, an artist, and hopefully a client. This is a great time to talk about things you like (and some you don't). This is also a good time to think about your budget. Don't run! We are very reasonable and quite flexible, with many solutions to fit almost any budget. By the end of this meeting we should be armed with all of this info we need to make the best possible case for your project.

proposal

Remember all that stuff we talked about when we met? We do. We're really good listeners. We took everything we talked about and turned it into an awesome proposal that we can all get excited about. It outlines all of the things we discussed (the scope) and lays out a timeline (with milestones), the process details, and a quote.

it's go time!

Once the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed, it's 'go' time, and you get a front row seat for the whole show. We use super-duper collaborative technology (Basecamp) that helps keep clients informed about the progress of their project and involved every step of the way. The process is broken up into phases and milestones that get approved and signed off by the client. This ensures the project stays on time, on budget, and free from surprises.

We did it! And we couldn't have done it without you! When everything's been signed off, all the bugs squashed and we've taught you how to drive this thing, it's time to unleash it on the world. Don't worry, we're not going anywhere. All of our projects include 30 days of free support. This gives you time to get comfortable with your new site, and it also gives us a chance to squash any bugs that were hiding under the couch. Stupid bugs.
